{8.14.09} - 3rd Place at The Rocky Mountain Folk Festival
Out of ten finalists in the Emerging Artist Showcase at the Rocky Mountain Folk Festival, I placed 3rd. I performed first in the showcase, kicking off a beautiful day of music that included Rufus Wainwright and Madeleine Peyroux.

Just Plain Folks is a songwriting organization in Nashville that holds one of the world's largest songwriting competitions. I have been nominated in the following categories: Best New Folk Album for Things Change and Best New Folk Song for Mississippi Moon.
